Wave Creator is a complete wave editor and recorder with cut, copy, paste, a 10 band stereo equalizer, and the ability to convert between MP3s and wave files. Wave Creator makes editing audio files as easy as editing text with its clear user interface and powerful effects. Our unique overview window allows you to find the part you want to edit quickly.

With Wave Creator you can edit MP3s or wave files you download from the internet or record your own wave files from any source your computer supports. Plug in a mike to record voices or acoustic performances, connect a tape deck or turntable to the line input on your sound card, or record the output of a software MIDI wavetable synthesizer.

Have fun playing your voice backwards with the Reverse effect, or do more serious work with the built in 10 band stereo equalizer. Use the Normalize and Amplify effects to match volumes of different files or bring out the best in music that was recorded a little too soft. Fade in, fade out, add chorus, echo, or flange- that's a lot of power.

Ideas for using Wave Creator

If all these options are making you dizzy, here are just a few of the ways you could use Wave Creator:
  • Record your band and convert the .wav to .mp3 to distribute on the web.
