DJ Jukebox is a playlist generator and media file manager. You may rate each song to ensure that your favorites are played more often. You can remote control the volume and a server jukebox through a network. A click of the button will send programmed keystrokes to the server's media player. Files and entire directories can be renamed effortlessly. DJ Jukebox can even perform a global search and replace operation on the list of songs, automatically renaming (synchronizing) the files. Features: Works with all versions of Windows® 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, and XP. The information about your song collection is stored in a "Project" file. You can keep as many of these projects on your hard drive as you wish. You can also import songs from one project to another. All songs on your hard drive can be added to the song table in one simple step. You can generate and play playlists with a command line parameter. This is especially useful in creating desktop shortcuts. There are two ratings columns: one for when you are alone, and one for when you have guests. Songs that were not recorded properly can be marked as "bad". This allows you to prevent the song from being chosen for a playlist without removing it from the song table. The song table can be checked for errors, such as a nonexistent file or illegal rating. The songs can be located on a network computer (no drive mapping is required). It's all the same to DJ Jukebox. If you have a separate entertainment server, it can be shut down remotely. If the server has a network card with the Wake On LAN feature, it can be powered up remotely. The purchase of one registration number will license you for both the client and server copy of DJ Jukebox. Playlists can be saved for later retrieval. The complete list of artists, albums, and songs can be printed. The jukebox server can be remotely controlled by third-party programs. A complete set of file management tools are provided. Copying, renaming, moving, and deleting single songs or groups of songs can be done in one simple step. The shareware version has only a single limitation: it will only generate playlists of 10 songs at a time. This will let you test everything to make sure it works right before you purchase a registration number.
